For continuity of care, many patients prefer to see the same doctor on each visit, which we encourage. However, please be aware that this is not always possible as some doctor's surgeries can become very full or a doctor may be on annual leave. If the doctor of your choice has no appontments available within a reasonable time we might ask you to see an alternative doctor.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please cancel at least an hour before your appointment, so that it may be allocated to someone else.
Each person needs their own appointment. If more than one person needs to be seen, please book a separate appointment for each person.
Our duty doctor offers telephone consultations for urgent advice on your medical problems each day from 9am to 6.30pm. Calls are answered in order of urgency but we promise to phone you back the same day. If your complaint is non-urgent you may be asked to book a routine appointment.

Winter Access offers more appointments in the winter months
To help patient throughout the winter months, we will be offering extra afternoon and evening appointments. There are also appointments after school reserved for Children during this period. Ask one of our receptionist for further information.
Please be aware that as of April 1st 2017 we will ask any patient who has failed to attend an appointment on three separate occasions during a period of twelve months, to make their next appointments in person at the surgery. There are over 200 appointments unattended monthly which could have been offered to others and despite our efforts, this figure has not reduced. We hope that patients will undertstand that this is in the best interest of our practice and patients.
